30 hour childcare Update and call for Expressions of Interest

Neil Reader, November 10, 2015

(Updated guidance document)
The DfE have provided further guidance on the 30 Hours Early Implementation process and has informed that providers who are interested are to make contact with their Local Authority to know more.
Therefore, if you are interested in being part of this but did not express your interest to the DfE, you now have opportunity to express your interest with Services for Young Children where we are putting together our application.

Two Year Old In-Period Claims Needed ASAP

Neil Reader, October 16, 2015

You will recall in the autumn headcount letter we let you know that the DfE are giving the local authority an opportunity to submit further information about the number of claims in the autumn period. This will help us to ensure that Hampshire has adequate funding for the year as the two year old claims still rise.
We need your help to ensure we have captured all the two year claims possible.
