- Earthquake in Nepal
You will, no doubt, have been saddened by the devastating earthquake in Nepal and aware of the profound affect this has had on our local Nepalese community. Hampshire County Council has issued the following statement which may be helpful in signposting services when providing support for children and families affected. - Prospects Commissioned Services Update
As you will be aware, there have been some changes to the commissioned services that Hampshire County Council employ to support private, voluntary and independent group settings and childminders. The Children’s Links and PACEY teams transferred to Prospects Services on 1 April 2015. Please click for further information.

- Send Local Offer Update
Maintenance has been carried out successfully on the Hampshire Local Offer website in order to enhance the search functions for visitors to the site. - Opportunity to provide a new Early Years Setting in Bursledon
Bursledon and District Community Association has a new community building at their site in Bursledon (at the Lowford Centre) and are seeking a quality experienced early years provider to run a new setting to cater for children aged from 2 years to school age with scope to offer out of school childcare as well.

- Childcare Investment Readiness Fund
The Childcare Investment Readiness Fund is a £500,000 pilot fund, managed by Social Investment Business on behalf of the Department for Education that aims to support early years and childcare social enterprises looking to expand their presence in the early years market.
